I caught a whiff
Of something rotten-
Vinegar! In the patient’s water bottle!
Now what?
I can’t believe someone
Would do this to him.
Took pH readings.
Yep. It’s vinegar.
I even tasted it.
Calls were made.
Everyone denied it
Of course.
Turns out, Mom was cleaning
A pitcher. And soaking it.
With vinegar.
One of the nurses grabbed it
Very much by ignorance and mistake.
And fed it to the boy.
6 hours of calls and
Sherlock Holmes
Me and the mom figured it out.
Get rid of the idiots!
They’re wouldn’t be anyone left!
From now on
she does her soaking
in the garage
or under the sink- locked away!
Ugh.
