I bought some beer
In case I get a kidney stone.
In case the Beer Stores close.
But in Texas, that is unlikely.
One more week.
Of hard work.
I’m glad to have tons of work.
Some people are not
Having it so easy.
This caught us all off guard.
80 hour weeks, away from home,
Sleeping on a mat on the floor,
Often working free to fill in gaps.
It’s good to be in a good place-
To be able to do my part
With a happy heart.
