Beautiful photos, Anne. High speed internet is a blessing we sometimes take for granted. I shudder when I remember how slow everything was when we had dial up.
Such a beautiful part of the country. When we we looking into going to the Grand Canyon (which my son chose as a family trip to celebrate his HS graduation), our original plan was to go for spring break in March. Until we discovered the weather then on the North Rim! We went in June instead:)
Enjoy the awesomeness off this place. We tried to get sunrise and sunset photos at Grand Canyon, (it's 23 days less than 6 years ago now). but there were grass fires, official burn off we were told, and too smokey for good photography. Still it was a wonderful trip. So glad we made it. I've been reading blogs by RVers who are snow-birding in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Makes me hungry for the wild, amazing scenery.
Thanks for taking the time to upload those two gorgeous pictures, Anne. And I'm THRILLED to hear you're in a warm lodge not a cold tent on this part of your trip. ENJOY! xo jj
