north rim hike

The North Rim isn't officially open till mid-May

On a little vista almost up in the clouds

Warmth and charm

I stayed in a little lodge -
It was more like a modern hotel

More to come -
Wish you were here!
You would love it!

  2. I am currently in the South Rim -
A huge Raven pecked a hole in my stuff and ate my beef jerky!
    I think it's a sign that I should get a hotel room!
That, and there's snow on the ground!

  3. Gorgeous. I'm not surprised. Some roads don't open around here until June.

  4. Snow here, there almost everywhere. Unless Texas or Flordia then they are hot. I so love all your pictures Anne. Thank you for sharing them. I wish I was a mouse in your pocket and visiting these places too. Keep the pictures coming, I am really enjoying them. Take care and drive carefully. God Bless!!

  7. I didn't even think about there being snow there right now. Brrr! Looks like you found a cozy place to have a salad. Definitely not the time of year for tent camping. Good to know for future reference.

Glad you're having so much fun!

  9. It looks like you made it down into the Canyon? Don't see any mules, though. They would probably need mountain goats to negotiate the snow. Really missed you guys out having a ball while I was back to my shlepping.
I had a spectacular chicken salad today. From what I saw, you DO have a halo and some wings!
