10,000 times to get it right

It was 10,000 days from when
I turned 21 till when I started LoCarbing!

So I had 10,000 days to get it wrong -
and try and try to get it right!
That's alot of reinforcement.

900 days and some "change"
Now in my new lifestyle

Here's to the next 10,000!
Just one day at a time!

  1. That's an interesting way to see your amazing progress! I found the same calculator and it's been nearly 15,000 days since I was 21 to starting grain-free low-carb. Yer Right! One day at a time!

  2. Great way to put time in perspective. You have done an incredible job of teaching yourself to eat what is healthy for you and to be active and now your beauty within shines outward.

  3. Thanks!
    10,000 days of so-called adulthood....
30,000 meals - more or less (read as: more)

You would think that some where in that time,
I would have had the slightest clue! But no!
    I'm glad I'm learning now!

  4. Very inspiring, Anne. You have gotten yourself on the right path. Keep trudging away with what you are doing. It is obviously working for you. Have a great Saturday!

  6. Do you know Malcolm Gladwell's book: Outliers?? In that book he talks about the 10,000 hour rule to become successful at anything. Well, you have twice that number?? So, no back ward sliding for you. Your new habits and low carb eating are here to stay, my friend!

  7. Love it...makes me think! That's alot of crap food I've been eating before I changed my ways. I am still working on ridding myself of those Pop Rocks and Happy Meals from the 80's!
