cedar plank salmon

Take a fire
Charcoal, in this case

Take a huge Alaskan Coho Salmon fillet (link)
And a food-grade cedar plank...
See where this is going?

It's a LoCarb Feast!

Lemon, Dill

Bacon-wrapped asparagus and roasted veggies

Cooking - can you smell it?
Smells like a camp-fire in the wilderness
with Salmon jumping up from a stream
and right into a pan.

Served with a little pesto and pine nuts...

And a few Berries!
Yum!
Now THAT's LoCarb!

Hope your day is delish!

  1. Yum yum...have you gone the sushi route for you 100 days of fish? Did I miss a post? You can have most sushi places to rolls sans the rice to keep it low carb and lovely!

  2. Wow! That is awesome. WE had salmon for dinner tonight-- in a fancy restaurant-- and it didn't look nearly this good!
    Bon Appetite,

  3. Oh this looks so good. I especially think the bacon wrapped asparagus looks wonderful. I will have to try that on my grill. Also, your kitchen is beautiful. I think you should be an interior decorator. I don't have that gift. :)

I worked all weekend - this isn't my kitchen!
My is smaller and not very glam.
Which is why I take full advantage of it!
