vacation plans

So yeah - I decided to go with the group of Happy LoCarb People
on the 5th Annual LowCarb Cruise! (link)

It's a week long - in May... And I will get to meet alot of LoCarb People!
There will be Low Carb Lectures by Famous People...
And lots of excursions! Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel...

Of couse, I like vacations where you have to "rough it"
And hike and climb and pack it on your back!

And of course, it was a vacation that started my whole weight-loss journey!

Of course, I'll need one of these...
And some dress-up clothes as well... Imagine that!

To do THIS...
I am not a fan of water... I never have been on a boat...
Once long ago... all the more reason I must do this!
No time like the present!
So - No California this Spring...
Time for some LoCarb Fun in the sun!
And that is why I'm on a mission to
Make Every Day Count!

  1. Ohhhhh... how exciting. I've heard a lot about that cruise in the past. From all I've read it's always super fun and very interesting with all the speakers and the chance to socialize with like minded people. I am so happy that you'll get to go. Can't wait to read about all the details.

  2. Very cool!! I've been on one cruise and we went to some of the same places. But I will probably never step foot on another cruise boat (but note I didn't say "never" just probably never).

  6. I have GOT to go on a LC cruise soon!

I went on a mini cruise when I moved from Florida... Told my mom if she came and got me (1400 miles round trip), I'd treat her to a cruise in the Bahamas.

Will you have internet access so we can all go on it, vicariously through you???

  7. I bet you have the time of your life! Not only that but it's a good exercise to stretch yourself in many ways and going on a vacation that it not what you would usually do is just that!
