Tooling around in the boss's Dodge.
(Which is better, and easier to punctuate than if it were a Nova.
Then it would be the Boss's Nova!)
I hit a tire on the highway whilst going about 70mph in Trucky.
So she (Trucky) had to go see the nice mechanic and get fixeded.

Badges?
We don't need no stinkin' badges!

Good day for LoCarb protein/energy drink in a can!
.................................................................................
This was bound to happen sooner or later.
Went to the wrong house today.
Funny thing is, they let me in.
Always be nice to your nurse.
She might just be going door to door
Looking for the sick and wounded.
You just never know.
...............................................
Who is it?
"Candy-gram!"
Candy-gram, my foot!
You're the Land Shark, and you know it!
"Wait... I - I'm only a Nurse Shark!"
Well, ok!
Come on in, then.
......................................................
Ate like a predator today.
Almonds. Diet Mountain Dew.
Water. XAPP. sf fro-yo
Ham and cheese -
while standing in front of the fridge.
And one very long day.

  4. I was outside sweeping grass off sidewalk and driveway yesterday after hubby mowed lawns and the man next door who is 87 and has had several heart operations came out to tell me not to stay out in the heat long. He and his wife are such sweeties.
    You bossanova cutie you.

  5. I can't believe people will let ANYBODY in their house these days. WOW go thing you didn't come to my house and my husband was home he slams the door on the salesman face before they even have a chance to say a word. He's mean that way.

Thank you for ALL the great info on my non showering scare. I will be getting me some of that shampoo. I can always count on you pulling me through my crisis. Thanks again for following my blog.

Now try to stay cool out there in that heat. smile.

  6. OMG, home health stories. I, former home health nurse back in the day, was at a very old downtown Atlanta house once that was near the zoo, but I didn't know it was near the zoo. I'm standing on the front porch and there are lions roaring and elephants snorting or whatever they do..and other sounds that I knew were not cats and dogs. And this little shriveled up lady is in bed waving, no beckoning at me through the window in the door to come in, but she's locked in the house. I hoof it down to the ancient corner store and they confirm, yes- that is the zoo, and then tell me how to break in to the house because the son leaves her there. And I'm thinking "only me ..it can only happen to me"

  9. I always love taking a tour around town with you, Anne! I end up spending most of my time researching and writing in a coffee shop, at home or in an office. It's nice to get out with you!

I hope you have a swell weekend! Try to stay cool!

  10. I'm from Yuma, AZ so I know real "HEAT"! It's a killer...literally!! Funny thing is, growing up, we loved it...mud pies, water fights, swimming in the Colorado and the canals...we even bathed in the canals when we had no running water and we slept under the stars when we had no lights (shut off). Good memories :)

  11. I enjoy your weird/strange/different/odd photo parades!
When I went to the dentist, I took my camera to "take pictures like Anne". Ha ha! I didn't see one thing "like Anne's pics"!!

It must be the glasses you wear. ;-)
