  2. Glad you got out and had some fun. The flowers are out of this world. everything is still brown here, usually don't put the garden in until the may long weekend so....will wait a few more weeks.
    have a great day.

  3. Cinner, it was a pretty good time.
    It was an eclectic crowd.
    Real people!
Hope you have a great day, too!

  4. Not good to be alone all the time that's for sure. The flowers are so pretty. I like the way you want to share the beauty and you say wish we could see it in person.

  5. There's nothing prettier on earth than Texas wildflowers. I say this as I look out at ugly Nevada sagebrush (not purple like TX). Thanks for posting that video! I saw it briefly on tv the other day, but forgot to go look it up. I have a crush on Jane Lynch!

  6. Yay for getting your charger back!

Love all the flower pics. So beautiful. Scared of the birds though...thank you Alfred Hitchcock.

Cool that you went out with real people...I have a hard time with that most of the time.

Just to clarify about losing 136 pounds...I also regained 140. WHAT! If you go to my very first post on my blog you can see my first before and after pics.

Now I better get to blogging. I have a lot of catching up to do.

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog to comment...I don't know why I couldn't find your link sooner since I know you've been by before.

Such lovely photos...no flowers like that (yet) in the Utah desert, but I'm still hopeful. Some small ones are blooming...beautiful yellow ones. Of course, the Loco Weed has some neat purple blooms, but still.

Can't you make your next road trip north and then you could meet us all and we could meet you :)

  9. I've seen that Vogue video a few times and love it! She does a great job with it.

Soooooo glad you were out on the town. That's not a metaphor for anything-- THAT'S moving forward and enjoying yourself! Woo-hoo.

As for those flowers-- I bow to Mother Nature and your picture taking. They are stunning.

    Happy sunday,
    xo

  12. Because of the recent rains,
    And our somewhat mild climate,
North Texas is alive with flowers,
and birds, and trees right about now.
Maybe it always was, and I just didn't notice it....
    but I don't think so!
