a heart-felt story

Tonight after CrossFit:
AvegWhimpering HR 126.
Max HR 165.
I stayed pretty busy for over an hour.

400 meter run. Planks, bridges, squats, lunges,
weighted front squats, overhead presses, kb dead lifts...
And a thing I call Whimpering Pony Tables .... 
But that's not the real name.
Lots of work with LaCross Balls tonight... 
They work like a small foam roller - for whatever hurts.

When I was heavier, my little heart skipped every 3rd beat.
Nurse friends said it was a wonder I was on my feet.
And not in a box. So when I post that my heart still misses
occasionally, although it is much much better, people are funny.
They blame LoCarb. Like they think Dr Atkins died 
from his own diet. Many people have heart issues,
AND weight issues. LoCarb helped me with both. (link)
I'll compare my labs to any Fattie's Labs anywhere on any diet!

Scored some ground chuck... not grass fed...
just from the store... that's ok!

About 4% pufa today [6 x 9 = 54]
Good calories... good carbs... today: 
Avocado, macadamia nuts, cheese and protein mix today.
Not alot of cooking. 
I mix the protein with green tea! It was great!
I also had some Knox Gelatin with green tea... hot. Yum!

Lots of people are going dark tomorrow from 8 am to 8 pm 
in protest of the bill to pass SOPA and PIPA.
Any ideas?

  2. I can't see how going dark for a day will make any difference but that is just my personal opinion. They are going to do what they want no matter what we do.

  5. I still think you're amazing. And I do enjoy hearing how you are improving your overall health and fitness.

    Don't know about going dark. Time zones and all that. Mind you a day away from the computer might be a good thing. *smile*
