back to bed

Off to bed after a crazy day on the blogs!
Two days ago, by now... Jeez!
Facebook, actually.
All most of us Fatties tend to play nice....
And be supportive. Thanks for that, by the way!

It's funny how we can react to film and social media
just like it was happening in real life.
That's something I need to learn to overcome...
It's all fun and games till someone gets hurt!
The effect is real, at least.... if not the cause.

This losing weight is not easy.
Sometimes I don't think we give ourselves enough credit.
If obesity is really a disease, it's not that easy to overcome.
I'm glad I am not one to eat off plan.
Why cheat when you can have this every day?

I even called out for CrossFit. (Sorry, Coach!)
I'm just drained.
Like a wet dog in a perfect storm.
And that's pretty tired!

I know it will get better!
I also know when it's time to rest.
So off to rest I go!

  3. I went to bed at 8:30 yesterday, in tears and exhausted. This morning someone had turned on the inner sunshine again. :-)
    A good nights rest can do wonders... I hope you feel all spunky again tomorrow, and your inner sun is shining again.

  8. Hang in there, sweet Anne. You always have friends. The ones that show their true colors (and they aren't nice colors) are the ones to cut free. It's better. It's not you.Get some rest. The sun will come out tomorrow! :-)

    Hope that by the time you read this you've had a good sleep and feel wonderful again. I so love the way you are dealing with your food/eating/planning/tracking.

    Your knowledge of nutrition is amazing me.


  12. And BTW people who give a lot of themselves.... and you do in your job and your blogging and among your neighbours, need to get their rest and refill the pot of kindness, wisdom, fun and joy you dish out.


  13. Get rest, and look after yourself. We all need time to just chill out and forget about everything around us for a while. The only thing that REALLY matters at the end of the day is what is happening to us in 'real life' - but sometimes the line between social media / blogging, and real life is blurred. Hope you feel better and more energised soon x

  14. For many of us (me included), blogging and FB is a part of real life.... Just think of all the people you do help and support and the naysayers and non-helpfuls really are just dealing with their own issues.... and should be pitied. I appreciate your comments on my blog even if it's just yummy, comments do mean the world to me.
