tall texans

So many years of slouching and hiding my weight with bad posture
left me at 5 feet tall. I was once 5'2"
Now after P90X and the chin up bar, I am back to normal!
(I can stretch higher, but can't stay that way.)

With all this driving - I keep my oil changed like a religion.
This"complaint form" is at my mechanic's!

Ha ha!

Fourth of July stuff,
Way out in the "country."
Some pretty sparklers, please!
Thank you very much.
Lance Armstrong Beer!
"Drink Strong" -  I guess?
(I'll pass, thank you!)

The new office gossip couple - (not!)
A person was checking me out the other day in the elevator!
I never felt so freaking uncomfortable in my fatty ass-id (acid) life.
OMG! That hasn't happened in a while.
The checking out part, I mean.
I almost crawled out of my blonde package skin.

The other kind of meat market!

Deli slices for lunch - cold cuts...

All kinds of summer treats here in your grocer's grocery store!

"It's not the heat - it's the humanity!"
from Brigadoon!

Do you eat hot meals in the summer?
More or less than in the winter?
In Nursing school, they taught us to eat one hot meal a day.
If possible. There's something about it - more nurturing?

A weather forecast for last night and this weekend.
Looks like a recipe for a good time!

Here's to a great weekend!

Monster w protein and orange extract flavouring x2
Black Forest Ham w pepper jack and mild cheddar cheese
sliced and rolled up with cream cheese filling!
Tea unsweetened, coffee w/cream, water, fizzy water
2 HB eggs w/out the shells
No nuts today - I'm done in - nut wise!
So to speak!
.................................................................
Still loving to listen to Wicked all day!
Could Wicked be the best musical ever?
...................................................................
I hope you are having a great week-end!
And a safe a happy 4th of July!

  1. Wouldn't this be a great day - and a great time -
just to talk to a friend - someone - anyone?
    Why not me?
Why not - well, right now?
    Sounds great to me!

  4. Only in America!!! Or should I say, only in Texas would you find such 4th of July treats!!!! My best friend from here is spending July 4th in Texas with our mutual friends in Fort Worth. I'm so jealous! I'd love to see the action.

  6. I'm the one little old ladies ask for help getting stuff down from high shelves in supermarkets. If I had a pound for every time someone said to me "you're so lucky being tall" I'd be very wealthy! :o)

    Have a terrific weekend!

  7. Yay!
I'm just glad I got my 2 inches back -
    *so to speak!*
Plus standing up straighter and taller
    makes a person look thinner!
    If only until they exhale!
    :D

  11. Doesn't it feel great to get checked out?! It's almost like someone is checking a piece of meat to see if they want it. Which goes well with all of your meat pics. :) Hey, that person just thinks you look good. It's nice.

    LOVE the weather forecast.
Have a great fourth of July. I think this will be the first year we don't buy fireworks.

  12. Yay for standing taller! All this fitness work is paying off. AND getting checked out? It's been so long for me I wouldn't quite know how to handle it either.

Why does everyone think you need to drink beer after riding a big ride? I know it's the carbs they're replacing, but isn't alcohol the opposite of being fit? That's just my 2 cents.

    Have a Happy 4th, Anne!

    Not worth the calories!
And blogging under the influence is just
    cruising for that bruising, again!
