Wickedly hot 100 degrees F by 10 am
Poof! Heat-Be-Gone! You have no power here!
Good day for an ice-cold LoCarb Monster
Surrender Dorothy!
Time to decide which way to go -
Easy Street - or Action!
Traffic was wicked today!
Broom in the shop. Took the truck today.
Stop Jiggling. Start fixing.
Not just for toilets anymore!
Yeah, but are they any good?
A mutton sale - and here's me - without my checkbook!
Wickedly good grilled chicken with
Sugar Free Peach and Apricot Jelly as a glaze.
Courage puts the "ape" in apricot!
That, and Splenda -
(Glenda's Sugar-Free other other sister.)
Give us a kiss then!
I'm melting in the heat!
So is my green face paint!
Evenings usually cool off nicely.
Ends up with the ladies "shooting the breeze" in the breezeway.
Gotta ♡ the sense of community!
.................................................................
Ah, fun times in the Summer Of Wicked Love.
I went to work today...up at 5 am...
Got there - they didn't need me!
So I played and did chores the rest of the time.
I cleaned while I still had the energy to do it!
....................................................................................
In fact, I woke up today, and thought to myself
"One of these days, I am going to be tired of this mess."
Housework hasn't exactly been my first priority lately.
So, I guess, today is that day! I 've done ALL the laundry!
Every last wicked, little, wicking sock. Folded and put up!
......................................................................................
Bought chicken breasts packages, and salad stuff.
Making some tea and filtering/distilling water.
The kitchen looks like it took a slitch. Which is not a pleasant sit-uation.
The dishes need to be done, and my Flying Monkeys take Mondays off.
Hope you are having the best week ever, my pretties!
Note to self: Watch out for falling houses!
You goofball... you have me cracking up!! Too funny. :-D
ReplyDeleteLoretta
=^..^=
So this is what happens when Anne has too much time on her hands? Very funny, you are. Okay, now just who keeps green face paint on hand?
ReplyDeleteRoxie - too many years of being a Pediatric Nurse....
ReplyDeleteSilliness and costumes and all.....
Would you believe it's mud for a facial?
No?
I love the signs! "Easy/Action"
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny! Have you tried POLANER'S SUGAR FREE w/FIBER preserves?5g carbs with 3g fiber? Pretty good :)
Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteI caught the cleaning bug today too :)
You definitely live in a great community
Nope -
ReplyDeleteAvocados aren't wicked - just wickedly delicious...
And green!
Anne the wicked leprechaun... :P
ReplyDeleteI heard it wasn't easy being green either, but you seem to have this one down to a science.
ReplyDeleteYou are so wickedly funny!
Love the ladies catchin' and shootin' the breeze.
Chicken and apricots sounds lovely.
Isn't davidji's voice just the best! Maybe the Buddhist didn't invite you back because the person died...not because you weren't pure.
I am sure you are as pure as Ivory soap!
You should have gone into that International store with thye green face and hat and asked if they had any eye of newt.
ReplyDeleteThey just might, though!
ReplyDeleteYou're one of a kind, Anne. And I mean that in the best possible way. :)
ReplyDeleteIn case it inspires you ... I just got done cleaning the kitchen myself!
Those older ladies must so love you, your sense of humor and kind way are real winners.
ReplyDeleteIt is too hot to do house work, leave it until Fall......LOL
Have a great Tuesday my friend....:-) Hugs
Sorry you didn't make any green/cash but you sure know what to do when the Universe gives you a day to play. That was a fun ride!
ReplyDeleteThe ladies in the breeze way crack me up...looks like you need a secret pass word to get by them. Reading snail mail and the local paper may soon be a thing of the past; good thing you got a photo. Do they know about your blog? Waiting for the day they pull out their laptops and start commenting on this site.
