it was a dark and stormy night...

These young men pelted anyone who drove by.
Double click the photo to enlarge it.
They seem to be enjoying the moment!
All right, now it's your turn to try a Monster!

Head ache all day
(a slight grimace?)
2nd type of Rock Star...
Coffee, Water,
Salad w/Avocado
Changed shoes/socks like 3 times today
Kids and SnowMen/People everywhere!
Protein w/Monster once I got home

Going to bed way early
Getting up at 3 am is ....(fill in the blank)

  2. Getting up at 3 am is .... a normal workday for me and I hate it. My favorite snowman is the Toby Keith look alike, or maybe it's Bret Micheals? I have to go see if it has a beard or a lip pout.

  3. Getting up at 3AM is... for the birds!
Haha this morning my cousin sent me a pic of the snow covered Fort Worth. Welcome to winter wonderland!
The crooked smile snow man is so cute!

  4. Snowmen are so much fun. The last three times I've been in snow it's been way too cold to get the snow to pack to make one. Godson and I keep going back to Ohio in winter so he can make his first, but so far no luck. I should bring him to Texas.

Hope your headache is better! Have a good weekend Anne.

  5. When my sister and I were little, my grandmother let us take her can of paprika outside to sprinkle on our snowman so he'd have red 'hair.' Of course, the whole front lawn was orange until the snow melted.

  8. The snow here was perfect - and not too cold. I don't even have gloves!

The headaches are from not eating or drinking water during the day.
Or from worrying. About things that won't change and can't be controlled.
Maybe my glasses need adjusting.... as in my vision is changing.
They changed when I first got on low carb... for the better.
    I am 49 and don't wear bifocals!
I left the house without my glasses the other day, and had to go back and get them.
I NEVER wear them, except to drive. Perhaps a phenomenon?

  10. I, too, love the dirty snowman.

The 3 a.m. start to the day would do me in!!! I do remember seeing 3 a.m. from the other side when I was younger...that wasn't nearly as bad, as I recall. :)

  12. That's in the Dallas area?! Holy snowflake, Batman!

OK, I am going out RIGHT THIS MINUTE to get a Monster. Low carb, of course. Picture will be posted tomorrow. :)

Low Carb Rock Star is more fruity than sugar free. Somehow I have gotten hooked on sugar free.

There is also an energy drink called Ballz. No I'm serious.

  13. No Ballz for me, Kelly...
    Be afraid.....be very afraid!
Thanks for the kind comments on the snow man pics!
It was play day in Dallas for sure!

  14. I was up with the lark this morning,
I love the dawn of the day!
Roosters crow to me, crow "Hello!" to me,
Everything says, "GLAD TO SEE YA!"
Cows are moo-ier, dew is dew-ier,
    Soft winds blow...
No-body wants to be lazy, NO, No, no...
I'm fresh as a daisy--I feel so wonderful...

I was up with the lark this morning,
I yawned a little and then...
Looked at the clock and I rolled right over again!

(an old song that I can't find the title to)

  15. Another...

When the red red robin comes bob bob bobbin’ along, along
There’ll be no more sobbin’ when he keeps throbbin’ that old sweet song
Wake up, wake up you sleepyhead, get up, get up, get out of bed
Cheer up, cheer up, the sun is red, live, love, laugh and be happy

What if I’ve been blue, now I’m walking through fields of flowers
Rain may glisten but still I’ll listen for hours and hours
I’m just a kid again, doin’ what I did again, singin’ this song
When the red red robin comes bob bob bobbin’ along.

  16. I actually dreamed about birds last night because of these two songs.
I was feeding a little baby bird who had (no doubt) lost his/her way.
    {It was blue, but I'd like to think it was a little girl, anyways.}
I have basically the same dream every night.
Now it has birds in it!
