First - thanks to everyone who reads here
and had get -well wishes for me!
They worked, I guess and I am 1000 times better.
I stood up the other day and my pants actually fell off of me.
So I'll count that as a nsv of sorts.
This Lab Jacket was snug in October...
and now it over-laps. I had to wear leggings
because I am so cold! But I also wore pants.
Getting there, I think.
My $3 and sometimes $5 and often $10 a day habit
is one thing I am better of without.
I found this in a box of junk. Gosh!
Still no coffee - still no Monsters.
This is broth.... half chicken, half beef stock.
Yerba Mate overload....This is why people like tea bags, and
don't carry around loose tea. What a mess! And the fancy
red Thermos didn't stay very warm during work.
22 degrees in DFW /North Texas this morning
I had to have sugar-free fro yo. Praline/ mocha.
My locks were frozen yesterday morning.
It took forever to get in the truck!
And then I had to climb across the passenger side.
This has happened before.
But this year, my butt didn't honk the horn!
Another nsv for sure.
At least I'm on the mend.
It was the combination of fasting, and catching
some bug that did me it this time. What are the odds of
that happening? I mean, really!
My 5 o'clock shadow is showing!
Back to work at my awesome driving job.
I like the bedside nursing,
but I love to be out and about - driving.
So all things considered,
it's all good --
Sorry I'm a big baby...
Nurses make for the worst patients, I'm told.
Hope your day is wonderful!
Hey so glad to hear you are feeling better! I can honestly say pants have never fallen off me, but perhaps one day I can join the ranks of the momentarily pants-less due to that NSV!
ReplyDeleteOh and I want some of that fro-yo, yo!
Keep on getting better, you made me chuckle about your pants.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Sheilagh
Glad that you are feeling better, Anne. Not that being a big baby was a problem... just want to see you get well.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love how shadows make us look tall and lean? Love that photo!
What does nsv stand for?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling so good! The smiles were all over this post!
ReplyDeletecool, literally. I'm wearing thermals under fleece.quite toasty. That would keep your pants up.
ReplyDeleteKeep warm :) I love chicken broth with lots of freshly ground black pepper. My Nana used to give it to me in the winter time at bedtimes. It's the ultimate comfort to me.
ReplyDeleteThe frozen yogurt looks great! Glad you are feeling better! Frozen locks-no fun.
ReplyDeleteyour sickness intercepted my snowstorm! I missed it! I'm glad you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel great to be well again?! I am so happy for you, Anne.
ReplyDeleteMy brain just isn't functioning this evening. I read "frozen locks" and instantly wondered why you'd go outside with wet hair, in 22 degree weather, just as you recovered your health. Dah. LOL
I'm okay. I finally caught on, by the time I read how you didn't butt honk. (And I'm not talking rude noises, I'm talking the seat leap in the truck.)
Keep smiling, and congratulations on breaking the monster habit!! I'm proud of you!
Nurses and husbands!LOL! Congrats on the many NSV's - We had quite a bit of snow yesterday: My husband recently traded our "all wheel" for a "4 wheel" so I was set.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better!!
Glad you're feeling better. Hey, lucky those pants fell off you at home, huh?
ReplyDeleteWe nurses DO make the worst patients! We know way too much. LOL
ReplyDeleteO-M-G Where do you get the sugar free frozen yogurt and how many carbs in one serving??? I am seriously jones-ing for ice ream!
NSVs have healing powers don't they
ReplyDeleteYep your clothes are definitely fitting looser lately :)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that like Ann i thought you were talking about frozen hair!
Glad your feeling better.
I'm just catching up and read your Jan 11 post. sorry you were sick (I've been sick too), but you are amazing. Those pictures...I don't know what to say. Amazing. Yes, I am at a loss to come up with something else other than... amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, glad you are feeling better. Glad your clothes are getting so loose. Remember...I told you a while ago...you need new clothes! :-) You should show off your new bod rather than hide behind baggy clothes.
TWENTY-TWO Degrees! I yiyi-- Are you sure you don't want to move your vacation to California up a bit! (And no, I won't tell you how warm it is here ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better and on the road again. xo jj
Goldie-LOCKS?
ReplyDeleteWow - I didn't see that one coming!
JJ - That vacation sounds like a great idea!
If I had more courage I would one day move there...
SheZug and I still need to know what nsv stands for :)
ReplyDeleteYer not a big baby! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better!
