1,000 miles today

A lucky shot!

Clear to party cloudy

There will be oil and fresh roadside produce

He looks a little eager for his turn....

Baby back ribs?

A puppy?

The end of a long day ...
1,000 miles in 16 hours.

Monster w/protein
Coffee, water,
Atkins bar, pistachio snack pack
Didn't eat much today...
Running on pure adrenaline.
Drove into the wind the first 12 hours...
Finally it stopped, and I settled down, too.
But I almost turned back more than once.

Yeah, I lost the weight, but I lost something else along the way...
I caught a glimpse of it this evening...
I haven't worked in my regular job since late August, early September...
I tried to write a funny something here, but I can't even do that.
I've gone from panic to dread - that's progress, right?
At any rate, the pics are nice.

Oh yeah, and a Muscle Milk
w 10 grams carb...I was walking sideways...
thought I needed something.
Thanks for reading!

  3. Thanks ya'll -
If you care to, double click the pic and it should enlarge.

This is the one year Low Carb anniversary for me.
I want to go back to the place where it all started - California.
Some primitive mythology dictates my return.
Undo all the mistakes I made the first time.
Probably a control thing. Beats the alternative.

  4. Great pictures!! But driving 16 hours, no matter the distance, sounds so NOT FUN. Hope you find what you are looking for in California....
    Look forward to next installment.

  11. There's no ADD in me! I put in 20 hour days.
No ADD/HD either; the adrenaline is synthetic!
I think the correction comes from healing,
    Which probably comes from forgiveness...
Which is an "action-verb" form of Love..
    The Unconditional Kind...

  12. Oh you have me craving a nice long road trip. A person can really find herself out on the road.

The views are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I look forward to more.

Have a fun trip. Life is too short for regrets. Instead of living in the past, look forward to a bright future and then make it happen. We make our own destinies.

And along the way you may even want to have a Rock Star because you rock. :)

((HUGS)) Have fun!! You may also want to pick up a copy of The Bad Girl's Guide to the Open Road. Funny book.

  16. Looks like a rocking horse to me.

Sounds like progress. Anytime the panic goes, it's progress. I had this dream once the basic message was: Relax. Something really wonderful will happen.

Took some time, but eventually the wonderful came.
