hike in a forest

not my ride

hiking at 9,000 feet

a little cabin in the woods

Finally home - ready to post - then
Suddenly my internet connection is no good.
All across America (and beyond) it works.
Back at home - no bueno!
Two days with no hook-up.
Grrrr! Double grrr.

So this is about the last of my Splendid,
Refreshing, Soul-Searching, trip to California!
Hence the time delay.
This hike was 9,000 - gave me a nosebleed anyways.

Thanks for going half way across America with me!
I really wish you could have seen it all in person.
Who knows - maybe one day, eh?

Today, Monster drink w/protein
Hamburger patty with salad
Coffee w/sf hot chocolate
and water, water, almost everywhere.

  1. Hey! We were hiking at 9000 feet this afternoon too! Are you glad to be home in your own bed? I always am.

  2. Glad you made it home safe and sound, and thanks for sharing your holiday. I've enjoyed every moment, I wish I could have been there too. Yep ... maybe one day ....

  3. I should have kept notes so I can follow your trail :) Glad you are home safe and sound.

  4. Happy that you made it home safely. Thanks so much for sharing your adventure in pictures. I feel the need to travel west now. If only I could get over that fear of flying thing.

I am going to try to fly to Boston this summer. 1 hour and 23 minutes. I think I can, I think I can. I guess I could do a lot of short flights and make my way across the country.

  5. Welcome home Anne! Thanks for all the great pics and travel log. You put in a lot of really amazing miles!

Hope your internet connection behaves itself. It's such a pain when it goes out.

I just put my niece on a plane back to Ohio. I'm exhausted but we had a blast. I'll catch up with you again soon.

  6. Welcome home and thank you for taking us on such a happy vacation....your photos were and are lovely. Are you well rested and filled with new hope and tons of energy or do you just want to rest........:-) Hugs

  7. It has been an awesome opportunity to "travel" along with you. Thanks for sharing!!!

  8. Nosebleeds at 9,000 feet. Sounds like a good blog post title to me!! Glad you are home safe and sound and can sort all your memories of your momentous trip while you get back into the routine of taking care of yourself.

  9. I loved your posts while you were on vacation!!

I would love to hear from you!
