"please don't go" by barcelona

This might be one of the most beautiful videos on YouTube.
The song is "Please Don't Go" by Barcelona.

My "virtually perfect" job ended yesterday...
Sooo...I'm planning another trip in an attempt to occupy my thoughts
while I take time to adjust to the many changes that have occurred in my life recently.

Oh, yes - things change. I understand the nature of change on an intimately deep level.

"Every day is a gift," I tell my patients.
And I never want to assume that someone or something will always be there.

Even when you know it is ending, it can still suck - to be unable to do anything but react.
And sometimes not even that, at least publicly.

Not going through much, except change itself.

  3. Change is inevitable. Sometimes it's big. Sometimes it's small.

Where are you thinking of going?

  4. Well, my friend -
I love to take trips. I have lived in Germany. And visited Brazil, Canada, and California. I am thinking about having another go at California.
The beach, the desert...and this one pelican that started my whole diet and subsequent blog..I'm gonna find him, and take his pic there on the pier!
My boss wants us to have lots of time off...
I will gladly accommodate her request!

  5. Anne,
I stopped by to make certain I wished you a Happy Year ahead and find that change in the wind has already pushed you fast into a new year, new life, new way of seeing.

I look forward to your journeys and what comes to us through your experiences.
