curves ahead

Driving Miss Poppy
"Banting Way..."  Maybe the coolest street name ever?
William Banting  (here's a link) was an early
LoCarb advocate. Over 100 years ago, he wrote
"A Letter On Corpulence, Addressed To The Public."

*Not to be confused with Sir Frederick Banting
The Canadian Doctor who c0-discovered insulin.
They were cousins, though!*
One of many  shiny glass buildings, here in Dallas Tx
What a cute little camper slash trailer!
A curvaceous day!
Driving along - then suddenly it's country all around
Chin Hair?
The Mighty Warrior Gophers...
Gopher It!
Truth in advertising:
"My wife is having twins!"
Bring us your business...

....................................
Monster w/protein
Pack of peanuts x2
HB egg x 2
Atkins bar
Coffee w/cream
Water, but not nearly enough
9,000 steps at work!
...................................................
If someone gives you a ride,
And they are driving,
And they get a snap (a ticket)
Would you offer to help pay for it?
.....................................................
So far, the rehab project was
a moderate success..... day 1...
It's always darkest just before the light.
That's what they said in "The Wizard Of Oz."
So it must be right!

Hope you have the best weekend ever!

  1. Chin Hair Design has my household rolling. Funny!

Glad the rehab is progressing along.

No, I would not offer to pay the ticket. Their foot was on the gas pedal.

    Enjoy your weekend!

  3. Hmm, unless I was asking the driver to hurry up, I wouldn't help pay for the ticket. Would you?

    Happy weekend,

  5. Oh sweetie, no you don't offer to pay the ticket.....the driver has to be accountable and pay herself......otherwise she will continue speeding, and you are a good person and friend to help others......:-) Hugs

  10. Well....
I paid half of the ticket.
So she wouldn't be anxious. Or broke.
I always try to go along with whatever I am asked to do.
Even if I don't agree. Even if I'm within my rights.
I can't know if that makes me a wimp, or something else.
My motto is borrowed from Rodney King:
"Can't we all just get along?"
