six months into LoCarbing

before I went on Atkins..............compared to................now-a-days
Same hair, though....
It's so thick (I'm not complaining)
and healthy ☺
I have to get it thinned-out every few weeks,
as well as cut....
It's obviously time for a trim!
My hair was gray long before LC
So don't nobody go off hating.....
Don't blame Atkins... blame Mrs. Clairol!
Blame that I'm almost 50.
*gasp!*
Ah, weight loss is a work in progress....
That's what's so hard to keep in mind
When the results are slow in coming.
But it happens. Every day.
So why not?
I'm asking ya...Why the heck not?
It could happen! And is and does.
Wait for it.....while you work it!
Quotes from Frankenstein:
-
- "The agony of my feelings allowed me no respite;
- no incident occurred from which my rage and misery could not extract its food..."
- "I do know that for the sympathy of one living being, I would make peace with all.
- I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine
- and rage the likes of which you would not believe.
- If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other." The Monster -
- [Perhaps the ego? I'm guessing here.]

Coffee w/protein
Protein w/ protein
Air, water, sleep, walking (not sleep-walking!)
*finally* with no chemical induction to sleep!
Atkins Bar x2 (different times of the day)
Grilled Chicken Breast x2 (different times of the day)
Spinach fried sauteed....in balsamic vinegar with pine nuts
Served w/sf peach jelly...just a spoonful for taste
My best boss in the world loaned me a Dodge to drive
After she saw how determined I am to work
I took a cab (cost almost 50 bones....one way)
Not complaining, actually - glad to have the job and the hours!
.................................................................................
5,000 steps at work....walked 30 minutes + cuz the cab was sooooo early
30 minutes on the tread mill after work. But didn't wear the weighted vest.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
The chicken w/spinach and sf jelly was so good....
ReplyDeleteIt also helps that I was soooo hungry!
