is it hot in here, or is it just you?

A hot day for sugar free fro yo

Yay - CherryBerry - in McKinney!

Had a chicken salad from Panera
No temptation on the apple, though.
Not even for the apples of my eyes.
Not even for my apple cheeks!

Looking up from a CT scan...
A lovely view

Watching the temp go up - 107 in the shade....
126 in the sun

Carbs? Nope thanks....
A nurse gave me grief over eating "all that saturated fat..."
on Atkins.... When I told her my triglycerides are 46,
she shut her mouth.

I told her I mostly avoid sweets altogether....
She said she can have some,
but mostly she uses self-control...
Looking at her butt, I am thinking ...
How's that working for ya?

Finally the train guy has to be a little quiet at night!

Pretty skies and no pies (for me)

Hope your day is great!

  1. 126 in the sun, I would be a melted puddle of fat on the ground. I don't know how you can stand it.
But people don't know how we can stand our minus 4o weather in our winters. sounds like you and the nurse may not get along the greatest. lol. be well Anne. think of you often.

  2. Those are "Sprinkles" cupcakes, aren't they?

If they are...I just proved that I'm fat by identifying them just by looking at them. LOL!

  3. They are indeed! Not mine, mind you...
From all accounts, they weren't that good.
Maybe that just what people say to us Phatties
so we won't want us some cupcakes!

  7. You are a saint to resist those cupcakes. I'm wondering if carb cravings ever go away. At least for me. I'm going to have to do something because the scale ain't budging and I'm going a little crazy because of that.

Those temperatures are nuts. Come on fall!! Hey, I was talking to Chuck about getting to Dallas. I don't think I'll be able to make it up until October.

  9. You crack me up. I don't know where CHerry Berry is. I guess I'll look it up. Those cupcakes from Sprinkles are way too sweet, I don't like them. They look way better than they taste. It's too hot. Too hot. Too hot. Yuck.

  12. You made me laugh with the "how's that working for ya?" comment!

At first it looked like your chicken salad was on a scale (ala the froyo) and I was thinking wow, you could get froyo AND salad in the same place??? Genius!

  16. Yummy looking treats - not the cupcakes! Sheesh, it is very hot in your neck of the woods wherever that is. Stay cool and keep some windows open in the house unless it is air conditioned.
