Really really really
The bluest skies you’ve ever seen.
Are in Seattle.
Especially after a rain.
The sky glows. Like turquoise.
Pictures don’t begin
To do justice.
Truckstop on the way.
Truckstop on the way.
I drive 2 to 3 hours home each night.
So to drive from Seattle to Portland
Is nada.
Just a jaunt.
I put on Connie Dover,
And enjoyed every moment.
Portlandia.
Portland in the rain is a scary place to be.
People are weeping in the streets,
Mainly homeless people.
And it suddenly becomes Urine Town.
Plus, the hills and cobblestone!
I had to uber a half mile.
No worries.
Clearly, they lie.
Union City Blues.
The goal was to drive town and take the train back.
I have a fondness for trains.
This old train station
Is like Daddy Warbucks and Annie!
This train hugs the coastline and goes from
Almost Canada to almost Mexico.
Business class waiting room.
Amtrak.
They also have sleeping cars.
And some cars have the glassdome
For beautiful observations.
But first, a selfie!
And a couple o dogs.
Hold my buns.
This blog should be called
“Hold Muh Buns!”
Waiting for the conductor to say
“All Aboard!”
One thing I don’t love about the iPhone app is that you can’t adjust the date on the post.
ReplyDeleteSo if you edit anything, it posts the date of the edit.
Ahhhh. The imperfections of having a good blog.
