My shoe size went up gradually.....total of 2 sizes.In my case it's old ligament/tendon, like old rubber bands, they are less elastic and occupy more space. Could your injury be one factor contributes to larger shoe size?
ahhh- yes - perhaps... I can wear the smaller sizes - but I guess my feet like to spread out a bit
