disappointment day

Happy Cat Birthday to Fergus 

I’m getting more deep sleep 

I was going to meet up 

with a Facebook Friend. 
But I can’t get one person to take the shift. 

Not one. 

All the times I accommodated other nurses. 

All the shifts I took so this one could go

or that one could rest. 

I was on the verge of tears. 

Even panic. Such bitter disappointment. 

I need to find a way to work through it

Before it makes me resent this case. 

I don’t handle disappointment well. 

I can’t hide my reactions. 

I’m doing my best to not be bitter about it.
