This is Roy, my neighbor. This is how I work out.
I had to do this like 5 or 6 times to get the shot.
The camera operator is another neighbor
who had never worked a "gizmo" before.
So I cut her a little slack :D
I can lift alot, alot more.
My all time record was 750 lbs leg press.
This guy is a lightweight.
This other guy was over 6 feet tall, 250 lbs.
A few years ago, I did squats with him.
my stats: 160, down from 205.
*sigh*
Weight lifting or dropping weight? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteLOL - my neighbour is much heavier than your neighbour, I am not going to try it!
ReplyDeleteAnd 160! Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteanneh, with your strength levels, i bet you'd love a crossfit routine a few times a week. air squats, back squats, goblet squats, dead lifts, thrusters, oh so many ways to grow your power. i just love explosive moves! go anneh, woot!
ReplyDeleterachel - strength was never my trouble... I bulk-up real fast.
ReplyDeleteEven in the Army I wore a size 16.
My C.O. once said I had the body of an off-season weight lifter.
I'm sure she didn't mean it as a compliment.
But what if I don't like my neighbors? Should I still try to pick them up? I don't think they are going to like that very much.
ReplyDeleteWow! You're hardcore!
ReplyDeleteYup! That's me...real hardcore.
ReplyDelete*sigh*
Not!
Ha! So that's what you're doing with your free time!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahaha!
ReplyDelete160--wow!
ReplyDeleteI love this! You're a hoot!
Holy OMG 160 WTG!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post title.
ReplyDelete"Picking Up Guys" I can just see it as a competitive sport in a Monty Python skit. My guess....not too many people have bench pressed a neighbor. (Some serial killer here or there might have dead lifted a neighbor rolled in a floor rug.)
ReplyDeleteYou, on the other hand, are killin' it in your trippy carb way: 160. Terrific Anne!
hehe, i like it. :)
ReplyDeletebut, but , but, if you do crossfit, then you feel like youre in the "cool kids" club. lol :)
ReplyDelete*sigh*
ReplyDeleteI know, right?
I guess I shouldn't admit I carry my groceries in a few cans at a time. I need to start working out. I wonder how much MY neighbor weighs :-)
ReplyDeleteThis was great and made me laugh out loud Anne. THANKS.
