I’m working 100 hours

3 weeks in a row. 

This covid is taking nurses

Out of rotation. 

There’s exposure to an active case

Exposure to an asymptotic case. 

Exposure without testing positive. 

Positive test without symptoms. 

That’s what’s happening in nursing. 

Can 2 positives make a negative? 

Can you mix 2 variants? 

Good stats. 

Holy Moly Guacamole! 

All all time record. 

Don’t know why. 

But I’ll take it. 

A higher number is supposed to be good. 

But in nursing , we don’t use this 

For reference at all.

I walk more than anyone  at work. 

Little kids lead the way!

One of the nurses had an exposure. 

I’m sure she has covid. 

She’s evasive. She sent a picture of a covid test

Still in the box. And said “see?” 

And I was like nope - I don’t see. 

I asked directly “DO YOU HAVE CV?”

And she didn’t answer. 

Why on earth would you come here 

To expose us all to covid. Why? 

Selfish bitch. 

So I’ll be working 7 days. 

That’s ok. 

That’s 3 weeks strung together. 

Pakistan Tea. 

Heavy spice and cardamon. 

Sick kids are a hot mess. 

They don’t know how sick they are,

And they have unusual bursts of energy. 

The Tylenol Effect. 

Everyone gains in winter? 

Seems to be a thing. 

Best advice. 

Me? I’m in a holding pattern. 
So far. So good. 

Food is spot on. 

Walking is perfect. 

Mental health is perfect.

Those 2 spikes are when I woke up

Throwing up. Brown dried black blood. 

First you’re a Blood. 

Then,  you’re a Crypt 

Solved it. 

I can’t have this ever again. 

Nothing is worth this.

So I  graded my PPI

And within an hour I was better. 

However, there wasn’t much to come up. 

It was already out. 

Never again will I work 7 days. 

It’s just not worth it. 

Nurses are dropping off like flies. 

So many sick. 

It’s like a war. Covid is worse than a war. 

Because at least soldiers are trained. 

And they get their shot and wear their masks.
