I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that...

Is it just my imagination, or is my refrigerator actually following me around at work now?

Open the pod bay doors, HAL.
I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

What's the problem?
I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.

What are you talking about, HAL?
The mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.

What a chilling horror movie THAT would be!
The Fridge From Hades....
(some folks call it Hell, I call it Hades....Mmm....reckon....)

Sorry about the poor-quality video, but this robot snuck up on me in the hospital. I barely had time to film it! These things run amok all over the place.

  1. What the hell (I mean hades) is that thing?

No, I do not eat them on the floor. I'll have you know that is my kitchen counter top, not very clean, mind you, but also not the floor.

  2. Amy H! My bad - I knew you are too classy of a chick pea eating chick to eat them any other way! Except during a chick flick!

As to what this is - meals on wheels?

It's a ROBOT that goes around delivering things from one Nurses station to another. It navigates all by its self, beeping as it goes! YIKES!

Anne, I am laughing my ass off right now. I am not kidding because I'm envisioning your *upallnightblogging* face as this thing goes by.

Personally, I think it is there to HELP.
Always at the ready with all the goodstuff that we like to eat to keep OUR MISSIONS intact and on track.

my fridge has greater powers, it pulls ME to it. It's too lazy to remove itself from it's nice little cubby in the kitchen, instead it calls me... "Amy, oh Amy.... I've got something you waaaaannnntttt".

    birdy dastard fridge.

  11. On one hand, that thing would freak me out if I saw it coming toward me in a hospital.

On the other hand, it would come in very handy when my husband asks me to fetch stuff for him during a game.

    :-)

  12. That's so cool...where can I get one??? One night at a card game, a friend and I got those giggles that are only understood between yourselves, because the host's fridge was actually talking to us. We can't remember what it said anymore, but it has become a long-standing joke. And no, we were not drinking, maybe drunk with laughter though!
