I told my little man I would get him
A nice shirt and tie
To wear to the doctor.
I’m tired of people thinking
That he’s mentally retarded
Or slow or MHMR etc
Just because he’s non-verbal.
So- he did it!
He’s gonna be the best dressed kid!
And the doctor is going to fall on the floor
From happy shock!
Then and now.
I am so glad I listened
To Dr Atkins!
