done deal

So here’s my new vacation companion. 

And here’s the new spot. 

It really hit home today. 

I cancelled all my July 

Air Bnb trips. 

And the river raft ride. 

Some I get a refund on 

And some I don’t. 

I wasn’t fair to wait till the last minute 

To see who blinks first- 

If they cancel, all the refunds are on them. 

Oh well. I’ve done all I can. 

In the Army, they say that

We’re already marching to 

our next destination-

Long before the last shot we just fired

Gets down range. 

So. Onward and downward. 

I gained 4 pounds.
