Raw Salmon in a Jar. With Oil.
Served cold.
Recipe added... lol
Lots of Salami and Cheese.
The way some companies process cheese
Changes everything about it.
Obviously.
I like the Irish Cheeses and White Cheddars lately.
But I just have a small cube of cheese every now and then.
Not much dairy. Not like I did before.
Texas goes from Winter - to rain - to Summer.
With minimal time for cats on ledges.
A really nice cane / umbrella stand.
People are always amazed on how "feminine"
My apartment is.
I guess they expected Army cots, and milk crates.
Seen whilst out and about
Elphaba would have not liked the "mean" part!
Rufe Snow -
What a great name for a street!
Yummy meat and salad!
ReplyDeletewait... raw salmon in a jar? Is that like some kind of sushi thing??
ReplyDeleteIt is... the recipe calls for soaking the fish in oil for like 3 days... with all kinds of spices... it was pretty good!
DeleteRecipe added in Polish... now here in English... lol
DeleteMarinated Salmon (approx. 6 servings):
700 g of raw filet of salmon 500 ml of water 2 tablespoons salt 100 g onion rapeseed oil to flood the fish approx. 400 ml 1 clove of garlic 6 fresh bay leaves or 3 dried ones approx. 10 grains allspice 1 tablespoon peppercorns colored
Wash Salmon, drain and chop into large cubes. Salmon must be skinless. Pour the water into the pot, pour salt and mix it until it melts. Put fish inside. Place the pot for 24 hours in the refrigerator. After this, drain the salmon from the water. Slice the onions into slices, and pour boiling water over it, cool down and chop the garlic into slices. In a glass jar place layers: salmon, spices and onions etc. Pour rapeseed oil to reach the top layer, close the jar and place it in the fridge for at least 48 hours. After that time salmon is ready, it can be stored in the refrigerator up to a week but better eat within few days. Enjoy!
PLEASE NOTE - I DO NOT LIKE RAPESEED OIL (grapeseed oil...or canola oil... or high canola oil....)
DeleteFOR THE OMEGA 6 OILS.... MAYBE A NICE OLIVE OIL INSTEAD????
Don't know!
Great pics as always, Miss A!
