It's that time of year, again.....
beep beep!
Time to be thankful,
and grateful for things like facing changes
Time to be glad we have time
to make changes - both "Large and Small"
Something like 10,000 files
and that was just the trash!
Time for a change around here!
A grandmotherly neighbor writes me a note:
Happy Holidays! ♡♡♡
"Have a cookie, honey!"
She made them herself -
using Tang
But really, they are made with Love!
♡♡♡♡
And it's the ❤Love❤
we want, after all!
But here's a hint:
The cookie can't love us back -
So experience the Love, and leave the
substitutes - less to work off later!!
Unless it's a really, really good cookie!
(Just Kidding!)
Hope you are having a great holiday week!
Any "big" plans?
ReplyDeleteDo tell!
A time for "facing changes." and CHANGING FACES! :) Love the pictures of yours!
ReplyDeleteJust spending the day at family's house... as long as every thing goes as planned it should be a nice time :)
Not really big plans... and not planning on getting any bigger!!! (which will be very hard!)

Bwhahahahahahah! Tang! I'd forgotten all about Tang. Excellent. Most excellent. Who knew you could make cookies with it?
ReplyDeleteLove your drawings. You are truly talented.
Awww, what a dear, to bring you a Tang cookie she baked herself. Made me get all misty and miss my Mom!
ReplyDeleteLoretta
=^..^=
Tang? I didn't know that Tang was still available in the states. I had the misfortune of tasting some of it (or it's Turkish cousin) recently. It's funny how I used to LOVE that stuff as a kid. So susceptible to marketing, was I!
ReplyDeleteThe cookies look good, though, and I think it was very kind of your neighbor to share with you.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Anne. I am thankful for being able to see and experience all your creativity via photographic, doodling and your blog. I am thankful to have you in my village.
Yay, Roadrunner! Beep, Beep.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is Thanksgiving. One of the people I am thankful for is YOU.
The cookie can't love us back- so true!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking GREAT ANNE! Big changes!
Lovely photos! Happy Thanksgiving to you.:)
ReplyDeleteI love when you post the before pictures and refer to change! And, you're right, cookies never love us back, they're heartless cruel little baked goods!! Happy Turkey day (turkey yes, cookies no!) :-) HUGS!
ReplyDeleteOMG, Tang! Haven't had that in years.
ReplyDeleteYou always have words of wisdom woven into your posts. Looking forward to meeting you in person in February.
Awww how sweet she was baking cookies, makes me think of my grandmom, she was the cookie lady. Sweet you got a note too. It really is the love we want, miss my grandmom. Hugs Anne and have a terrific holiday.
ReplyDeleteI liked tang as a kid, I was also a kid with ADHD and hyper as hell, still am, high sugar juices were never a friend to my parents. LOL awsome pictures you've done so well!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely message you left on my blog! I am looking forward to getting to know YOU! Great blog!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
she definitely gives me the granny vibe. I wanna hug her!
ReplyDeleteI tried sugar free Tang a bunch of years ago. Eh. Okay. Nothing special. But I imagine it gives a citrus vibe to cookies. Could work.
Happy Thanksgiving Even, you tripping gal!
Happy Thanksgiving Chick, I am sure you will enjoy the turkey. lol
ReplyDeleteUmmmm i love tang :) What a sweet heart she is and so are you!! Happy Thanksgiving
ReplyDeleteMade reservations...not cooking and not cleaning this year :)
ReplyDeleteI am thankful and grateful.
Wishing you much Happiness today, tomorrow and everyday.
Wishing you a happy thanksgiving. No big pans except to hang with the fam. My brother who comes infrequently will join us this year. SO that will be a bigger part of our plans. Holiday parades and Irish coffee on the day after T-Day!
ReplyDeleteTang cookies, never heard that one!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Thanksgiving :)
Wishing you only the very best this Thanksgiving, Anne. I count myself lucky to know you. That's for certain.
ReplyDeleteIf you were here, we'd save you a slice of our sugar-free pumpkin cheesecake. With a dollop of cinnamon whipped cream on top of course. Since you're not, we'll just perfect the recipe and make it again when you make it back to the left coast.
I LOVE having days off, now to catch up on the weight-loss blogs and maybe get an extra walk, or work-out in. I'm having a real light Holiday meal today. I wouldn't have done it this way a year ago. I've learned so much about diets on these blogs. And I'm really thankful for that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the posts. Especially the silly ones!
I used to drink Tang, but never knew that you could make anything other than a liquid beverage out of it. Who knew?
