release the butterflies

I decided to go for a little walk today.

This lovely creature followed me everywhere I went.
At one point, he/she/or it tried to land on me.
Which was pretty good.
I should get out more!



I had a much better day today.
I'm less-vexed, as it were.

    Oh, how nice to have a butterfly friend! We have an Admiral butterfly that does that--they are called that because they are fond of sitting on people's shoulders like little epaulets.

    I think it might be good luck to have a butterfly land on you. Hope it works!

    Lovely butterflies. The simple things are often the most special. I'm glad you are feeling better. I went to check what you said in response to my comment yesterday and found that I hadn't posted it. Odd since I spent a good amount of time reading and re-reading your post. Maybe I couldn't find words significant enough to match the tone of your post, but it effected me and I care.

    Butterflies only follow worthy people. That's what my G'ma told me. As a golfer, I've also been told that butterflies landing on you, your club or your golf ball is very good luck. What a wonderful walk you must have had.

    Thank you - there IS joy in my words - when I can get them out without being misunderstood.
