number crunching fool

Long ago, in the days of milk crate furniture
AKA college and just beyond
Then Nursing School and j just beyond...

I decided to upgrade my life.
Fix everything.
Let Love sort it all out.

Judy Garland was on --- in "Meet Me In St Luis..."
I was on a Judy Garland kick....

And the rest was history.

A good friend (at the time - long since gone)
And I decided to have a race to see
Who could furnish a house with cool Victorian Finds...

I soon lost out... He had more clout than me...
He was an RN who had already built 3 houses in totality...
To my one... or rather 1/2.....

And, as a gay man, he was already decades ahead
When it came to stuff like -
"Clang, clang, clang went the trolley...."

Still, to this day, when people see my place they are amazed...
They actually think I sit around on Army Cots... and Cammo....

Now Comes an Opportunity....

The USDA is releasing land... and loans....

To rural, undeveloped lands...

Like half of Denton County...

As I can attest to this...
Since half the places I have been to have no roads...
No infrastructure...

And now comes Modern Technology....

You buzz the Virtual Concierge....

They give you a code and let you in...

Open House is always open...!

My goodness - this place is tiny....
1800 feet never looked so small....
A Buyer's Market for sure...

A nasty habit... for sure

A good dinner for sure...

UGH for sure!!
Why is it always back to the
Proverbial Drawing Board ???
:-\

I made this for a patient....

This is what they served to a diabetic octogenarian

Fruit and Cottage Cheese -

A nice cool Salad

The Dressing was low fat and WAYYY too sweet...

I can't believe it either....

This place is very good with patients...
The Parkinson Voice Project

Leaning how to work the close up feature

Back at LLELA for a walk

Fishing for big fish - all day

The water is still leaking outside the apartment...
Taking off the trim

Scenes from around town....
I love my job!
Even when it has long hours.
I love all the places I get to go -
All the things I love to see!
